Prayers for peace in Bangladesh

In light of the religion-based violence happening in Bangladesh due to the considerable political unrest, we are holding a 21-day online prayers circle to pray for all beings affected and targeted during these events.

Prayer to be said (words to be provided):

Sanskrit – Om Sarve vai sukhinaha santu

English – May all be happy

French – Que tous soient heureux

Chanting will happen in all above languages simultaneously, with translators (Eng and Fr) available for those who wish to chant in a particular language other than Sanskrit.

We will be chanting the prayer 108 times in the 30 min duration, with each recitation ending with asking for peace 3 times. The more people who join and the more intense the chanting, the more powerful the effect. Prayer in groups has been proven to have transformative power in the world, so please join us along with your friends and family members if you can.

During this season of giving and forgiving, of peace and brotherhood, we encourage you stand in solidarity, to share this invitation with as many others as possible, or else hold your own to offer prayers of peace and for the cessation of the violence, injustice and unrest in Bangladesh.
